General Questions

Do I need any experience with campers/RVs/trailers?
Not at all! We will go over everything you need to know about our rental units when you arrive.
Can I take it out of the country?
You can take any of our rental units across the border to Canada.
Is there an age limit to rent?
Just like a car rental company, you must be at least 25 years old.
Do I have to be a US citizen to rent?
Absolutely not, we have rented to families from all over the world. You will need to provide a valid drivers license from your country.
Do you provide kitchen items and linens?
We have kitchen and linen kits available for rent, or you can bring your own from home.
What do the kitchen and linen kits consist of?

The kitchen kits are $60 and include everything you’ll need to cook a great meal for you and your family: pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, utensils, chef’s knife, measuring cups and spoons, colander, mixing bowl, and more. The linen kits are $100 and include sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels for everyone.

Do you allow animals?
Yes we do, we allow dogs but not cats. There is a $60 charge for each dog per rental unit.
When do we get our security deposit back?
Security deposits will be refunded up to 14 business days after you return the rental unit. This deposit is refunded providing the vehicle is returned in the condition it was received less any outstanding charges (i.e. propane, excess mileage, tolls). Any monies held beyond the 14 normal business days will be refunded (if applicable) after all outstanding charges have been satisfied and repairs/replacements completed.

Pop-Up Rental Questions

How much do your pop-up campers weight?
Our campers weigh under 2000 pounds, light enough for most SUVs, minivans, or large sedans to tow.
What size hitch ball do I need to tow the camper with?
A 2″ ball is required to tow our campers, and your hitch should be between 16″ and 18″ off the ground.
What type of electrical connector do I need on my vehicle for the trailer lights?
Either a 7-way round connector or a 4-way flat connector. We provide adapters for either kind.
What if I do not have a trailer hitch on my vehicle?
No problem. We will deliver, set up, and pick up at your favorite campground (extra cost and restrictions apply).
Do pop-ups have a toilet or shower in them?
No. Our popup campers do not have toilets or showers.
What do I need to bring?
Everything you would bring if you were camping in a tent (besides the tent!): linens, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, outdoor grill, camp chairs, etc.

RV Rental Questions

What size RV should I rent?
It depends on how many people will be traveling with you. Our 22′ and 24′ RVs sleep up to 5 people, while our 28′ RVs sleep up to 7. If you are only using the RV to travel in, they hold anywhere from 6 to 9 passengers.
What size are the beds?
The 22′ and 24′ RVs have two queens and a single bed. Our 28′ RVs have two queens, a double, and a single bed.
What do I need to bring?
Our RVs come just as you see them in the photos. There are no kitchen supplies or bed linens, or any toiletries for the bathroom. You are welcome to bring your own, or you can rent linen and kitchen kits from us.
What do I do about the waste tanks?
The waste tanks are one of the more asked about questions we get. If you are staying at a campground, it’s easy! Make sure you reserve a full-hookup site and you can empty the grey tank (sinks and showers) and the black tank (toilet) right at your campsite. If you are not staying at a campground, there are some places like truck stops where you can empty the tanks for a fee. Or you can just have us do it for you! We have a dump station here at our shop and charge a nominal $45 fee to empty the tanks after you return the RV.
What about mileage?
You will get 100 free miles per night that you rent. Additional miles are $.30/mile. So if you rent for a week, you will get 700 free miles included with your rental. Additional miles can either be estimated and paid up front, or will be deducted from your security deposit once you return.
Speaking of that security deposit, when will I get that back?
It takes up to 14 business days for the tolls to register through the EZPass that is on each RV we own. We wait until the tolls are ready before we return your deposit. Also, excess mileage, waste tank dump fees, and any damages are deducted from your security deposit before we refund your card.
